ISFAHAN FLORA

After finding an illustration of flora and fauna in an old book of Persian poetry, we redrew it, scaled it up, hand cut a stencil and made a repeating allover pattern based on the original print. An interior design client we work with often saw our hand stenciled mock-up on social media post & commissioned us to redesign it without the animals, just the stylized flowers, leaves and water elements, and we are very happy with this second iteration with its distinctive imagery from Persia printed in 2 colors. Mind you we still hung onto the version with the cute animals!
